An evaluation of performance of Samurdhi Banks in poverty alleviation in Sri Lanka. The Samurdhi programme is a major poverty alleivation programme implementing the Government of Sri Lanka and Samurdhi banks are one major component of that. The field survey was done in the eight districts the report was published.
