My overarching research agenda concerns the rights of disadvantaged students. I am currently pursuing research about the federal student loan program and its effect on students whose incomes do not allow them to pay back their loans. I am also interested in the legal rights of students who are sexually abused in the schools. I have written on the issue of sexual abuse in schools over a period of more than 20 years. My research agenda also concerns higher education law, and I have co-edited a text that is widely used in graduate level courses on higher education law.
