I have recently conducted a study of policy analysis undertaken by Canadian business associations. I am currently working on a project that examines business lobbying in Canada. It seeks to answer two basic questions. (1) What sorts of businesses and business associations engage in lobbying? And (2) What does business want in Canada? The latter question is centred around a distinction between public goods and selective, private benefits.
