Professor Stoker specializes in public policy, including methods of policy analysis, program evaluation, implementation analysis, and analysis of U.S. social and urban policy. He has consulted with numerous government agencies and non-profit organizations and has been a guest blogger on the Huffington Post and the Monkey Cage, writing about taxes and social policies. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles and book chapters and four books. His most recent book, Urban Neighborhoods in a New Era, examines the politics of neighborhood revitalization in post-industrial cities. His current research focuses on President Obama's urban policy legacy and the recent development of U.S. social policy.
