Professor Kauneckis specializes in policy analysis, program evaluation, institutional analysis and policy design. His research examines the evolution of governance arrangements and the development of decision-making structure as it relates to environmental policy outcomes. His current work focuses on climate change adaptation policy, property rights institutions, the emergence of collaborative environmental policy, and state-level science and technology policy.
