Andrea K. Gerlak is an Associate Professor in the School of Geography & Development and Associate Research Professor with the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at the University of Arizona. Her primary research areas include institutional design and performance, water resource governance, and collaborative environmental management. One of her current research programs involves a study of institutional arrangements and governance in transboundary water settings around the world. In addition, she has collaborated with Dr. Tanya Heikkila over the past several years investigating institutional design, change, and learning in large-scale collaborative ecosystem restoration programs in the United States.
