I am currently examining personal outcomes for housing first residents in Portland, Oregon via a mixed-methods study analyzing changes in mental health, substance abuse, self-care, relationships, goal achievement, and other contributors to overall quality of life. The results of this research will be presented at the 2014 Meeting of the Pacific Sociological Association. I am also engaged in projects related to community land trusts (both theoretical and practical) and manufactured housing conditions in Linn County, OR, and am active in OSU's Women in Policy.
